Just curious as to what area you're looking to improve in the near future. I know many of you guys are students and some people just take summer breaks, so if and when you return, what will be the one specific area you will concentrate on the most.

What specific aspect do you want to improve in the short term.

I'm not too intersted in "I'd like to get better at Kenpo" or general answers, more like, "my kicking..."

As I mentioned on another thread a day or two ago. I would really like to focus on my stretching and flexibility when I get back to training in September.

Fitness is probably another factor I should look at. Now that I've dropped nearly a stone weight over the course of the summer I hope to drop another half a stone, and maintain that weight. I'm a big guy at 5' 9" i was about 13 stone, and and now 12 but wold like to be 11 and a half or under. Beer and junk food are my biggest down fall.

I've stopped training over the summer and lost a bit of weight (just a few Pounds) and am worried that it could be muscle loss!! but at 9 and a half stone and only 5' 2 really need to lose about 2 stone

    That's a fair point Paul.

I suppose I could maybe squeeze in a nice jog on the beach at weekends, and then do a bit of stretching... Who know maybe Musashi will join me.... I'm down your neck of the wood Musashi, most weekends!!!!

I'm also 5' 9" but i have good metabolism so i never gain or lose more than 2-3lb, always on or just over 10St :) . What i'm gonna be doing is lots of stretching and leg extending so i can get higher kicks and while the summer weather is here it'll be easier to do than in sept+ when it gets cold . Also gonna try something i read on a TKD forum about improving height i can raise my leg.

I'm currently looking to improve my in-ring pomposity, i just don't feel it matches up to my real life or internet pomposity.

Now, I'm only 5' 8", so PLEASE pm me your secrets of leg extension... I'd be much obliged.

I'm trying to work on my macaco. Basically, from a crouch (on hunkers) I have to throw my arms back and stand up into a handstand; passing through a bridge on the way. Then you have to let one leg fall at a time until I'm back in our basic capoeira stance thing (ginga).

    It's hard and sore.

I'm also doing more deadstands, headstand cartwheels and the ever painful... kidneystand cartwheel.
