Why don't the GAA do something about the jerseys. On TV yesterday it ruined the games because of the similarities. Could they not change the white shorts at least?

There was a guy on Sportscall tonight about that, or was it you, or did you hear it? Yes, they could have done a better selection of colours, like they did for the final last year. It is not the TV that decides these things though.

Yep, Mayo vs. Kerry was a joke yesterday. I think the same happened a few years ago with the Kerry vs. Meath semi final, or some other game, can't remember exactly which one.

Surely teams should just wear their away jerseys if there is any clash of colours at all, like Monaghan and Tyrone did Saturday.

There are lots of colour clashes. Usually teams do change to avoid it. Mayo and Kerry did for their All-Ireland final meeting, so I don't know why it wasn't done on Sunday.

Kerry were supposed to change, but changed their minds with 20 minutes to go... Mayo changed for the final last year, so it was Kerrys turn to change...

Thats what I heard in the pub...

This one really is were there could be problems.
Imagine a dublin match with the hill singing come on you boys in blue with Paddy Christie an the boys running around in white. Of course if the GAC decide who should wear alternative colours it might just work out but if its left up to the teams its never gonna happen. After all who would offer the pyscological advantage to the opposition by changing colours. I know I wouldn't want to see the dubs in anything other than sky blue

Yes, I heard it on sportscall but also on sunday myself and my father were discussing it.

Personally I thought the cork- galway colours were harder to distinguish!
