I've been doing lots of research on sound cards as I intend to get into recording & producing music (my own projects, not set up a studio or anything) - has anyone used one of these before? Or have you any other recommendations?

Basically I want two XLR inputs, a few normal in & out jacks, midi in & out & preferably 24 bit capability. I recently bought a new PC which is powerful enough (P4, 3.2ghz, 1GB RAM) for pretty much anything going so that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for any help you can give :)

My friend & I already have an 8-track with mixer we can use for that. The reason I want 2 XLRs on the card itself is the 8-track's at my friend's house

€99 is attractively affordable though :D
    Thanks for the suggestion.
