Just wondering if shops are allowed to raise their prices at night, after twelve o clock. By day foe example just plain wedges in spar westmoreland street cost €1.50 and at night, since its open twenty four hours they go up to €2.90. Is this legal?

I'd imagine so, fast food places and bars often raise their prices after midnight because of increased costs at night, security, night wages for staff etc

They can do what the like tbh, its their shop. They can change prices every minute if they chose to.

They can indeed charge what they like, but they are still obliged to have the current prices on display on the shelf. Were the shelf prices correct?
