I want to get into IT, system administration or network engineer. Just wondering what is the best way to get in here without college degrees. I am 20, willing to do any course and am thinking about going to college as a mature student when im 23 to study computers. Experience now would be invaluable though...

If you have no experience or qualifications you'll find it very hard to find somene who'll let a newb loose on their network!

Why don't you try and get a tech support job for a bit and do some windows or unix certification?

Experience is key in IT. Qualifications will get you ahead, but experience will get you jobs. Without any sort of degree, you'll be starting on the bottom rung, literally.

Also have a look at doing the MCSE and CCNA which are respected qualifications.
