    Hi,

I'm currently on the market for a new computer. Looking for something without a high spec which can be bought standalone (ie. I already have the monitor/speakers/keyboard/mouse etc.).

Spec wise all it needs is:
    To be physically small
    Quiet
    Cheap
    DVD/CDRW
    80GB+ drive
    1GB+ ram
intel processor prefered but not essential

I havent had any luck finding such a thing online so far,
    anyone recommend anything?

Komplett is your friend, either that or keep an eye on the FS Hardware forum

Yeah, I looked at komplett already.

I was moreso looking for something already made, which I could just order and have delivered. Size is a huge issue. Smaller the better.

They do indeed. But the cases are big. As are dells. And I have a budget of about 600 euro. Which should be enough. Is there no other comanies along the lines of dell which do the whole online ordering....

Dell do some small form factor machines, such as the Optiplex SX range. Good office machines, but may not be what you're after. I've one in work, it is TINY and almost entirely silent too. It uses some laptop components such as the CD/DVD and hard disk. Newer SX's have desktop hard disks in them but retain the laptop size optical drives. No way you'd get one on your €600 budget though, unless you can get one second hand or something.
