Has anyone any experience with these guys? Do they do a clean, neat job?

I'm hoping to get them to install a Nokia CK-7W carkit into an '03 Focus. It seems eBay or eXpansys are the best bets for buying the carkit so far (~€110).

If anyone knows where I can get a cheap (~€200) Nokia 616 car kit I'd much appreciate it - although I'm not holding out much hope! ;)

    What do you mean?

Also has anyone any idea of what antenna I would need since I've just found out that this doesn't come with the carkit! :(

I have a Nokia 6021. They're too expensive for install and equipment. I want to buy the kit myself and get them to professionally install it. But Nokia don't provide aerials in the carkits. :(

Thanks for the opinions guys, Keep them coming.

I think carkits.ie provide the aerials. But I'm not sure. Just ring them and they'll tell you.

    Ok, reviving an old thread!

Anyone know what mute cable I would need so that I could feed the audio output from the carkit to the car speakers? Carkits.ie are quoting me €80 for the cable so I want to buy it separately.

    It's a standard ISO connection audio-mute (tele-mute) cable? It's to fit a CK-7W carkit to go to a Ford Focus 6000CD stock CD-headunit/stereo.

Hope someone knows what I'm talking about?

guys i am getting a ar kit from ebay and then getting it installed from a guy that works for carkits.ie.

i seen a varkit van and stopped it and asked the driver would he fit my car kit after hours and he said no prob and gave me his number.
he is charging me between 50-60.
so i am just waiting to get the car kit and then get it installed,

would i also need a cable to access the voice through the car speakers.
    thanks

From the Nokia car kits ive see, they dont pipe sound into the cars speakers, but in a small speaker yea hide in your dash.

Yes, but if you get the tele-mute cable to connect/pass-through the headunit you can do away with the need for the little speaker, and just use the car speakers (and mute the radio/CD too).
