    Hi there,
It's time to get a new vacuum cleaner. I'd be looking for a multi purpose one that has heads to reach into awkward areas and all that. Are there any great deals buzzing around at the moment? What's the best place in Dublin/Wicklow to get one for value and quality and that has replacement bags that are easy to find? Are bags even the way to go any more or are the other ones the way forward?

    Thanks.

I got one in B&Q for 75euro. It's a vax upright but the succion is fantastic and it has a hose on it too. Also it's bagless. We're gonna buy a second one and leave it in the box until this one brakes.....Thats how good it is.

It's a Vax selections, swift, bagless hepa, 1500 watt, cyclonic power.

Damn, I was hoping it wuldn't be one of those types, I've never actually used one but they seem like they would be awkward for small rooms  I see it has a hose though which may take away some of the awkwardness. Does the hose come with attachments like the 4 plastic ones under the metal poles in this picture? I can't really imagine without using the hose and the adequate attachment, that it would be very good at getting tangles up cat hairs and the likes out of the carpet?

Ok, it has attachments, three I think. One is a turbo spinny thingamagig that's really good for pet hairs(we have two dogs) and then the usual tight reach thingy and I thik the other one is for the couch and curtains and stuff. You need to swap the hose around depending on wether ur using the upright or hose. It's quite small for an upright style and nice and lite.

I've istalled a 6000mhz chip running a 250gb hard drive with auto access over wan to remotely control it from the back garden.... :D It also plays mp3, mp4, has a built in web browser and you can play games on it.....Oh, no sorry thats my PSP that I bought out of the savings I made not buying a Dyson :D

    Hi,
The mothership didn't want an upright hoover so I got a Morphy Richards bagless one for €149 ( ) in Roches Stores, Tallaght, I went to B+Q to have a look but there was nothing really in the line of non-upright hoovers, I also went to DID Electrical and another place beside B+Q and the Roches deal seemed the best for a bagless anyway. Let's hope it lasts so :o Thanks a mill for the advice anyway:)
