    Anyone see that article in the times a few days back saying that Jimi Hendrix got out of the paratroopers saying he was in love with his CO?! I thought he broke his ankle or something and that's how he got out...

    He said he was gay and a chronic masterbater. Not really suited for Instruments though.

    aye saw the biography channel thing the other night, what a beautiful person.

    Loved the clip they had to go with "Crosstown Traffic" when the three lads were walking down the market street, pretty cool.

    -> Just check out anything about Rory gallagher. Not only was he one of the greatest guitarists ever - He was Irish, white, and seriously cool.

    Like Hendrix, he was into the Blues too, so if you like that stuff check out the 'best of' which is out now I think.

    True. Rory was deadly. The first music I was really into was Jimi/SRV/Rory...seem to be attracted by the afterlife or something :p

    I actually heard that he broke his ankle too, when he was a paratroop in the army and thats how he got out the army!
