    Hi all,

I am trying to set up a way of emailing that is done something like mail merge, eg Dear [recipient] the purpose of this before anyone asks is NOT in anyway spam, i just send a lot of e-mails out on the same subject to many reciepients, not really a mailing list either because i pick and choose out of a list who gets them, and want them to have a more personal feel to them, I am using outlook 2000 but cant find how to do it, i will change email program if i need too.

    D

You can use MS Word to set up a mail merge that sends out directly from Outlook. Not 100% sure how to do it myself but if you google it I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere.

You could use a distribution list in outlook, but it would be a generic mail and not addressed to an individual, maybe someone could tell you how to that part.
