As if I couldnt hate the man any more for his inane pointless banter with guests, inexcusable ignorance, lack of manners and incredibly innocuous humour... then he goes and trashes my favourite tv show!

Ok, so you might tell that I'm not a fan of Ryan Tubridy but reading his article on Lost today in the Sunday World just plain infuriated me! The man has the audasity to compare Lost to Big Brother, saying that they are both just "trash tv". He also says that he spends his monday nights "sniping at the dreadful acting".

Anyone else read this article and feel that bile-induced hatred bubble-up within?

Edit: Seems as if I got the names of the sunday newspapers mixed up! Eep!

Ryan Tubridy, this is your life. You are a boring, dull, overrated, rude, stupid manufactured rte drone. You are not funny. You are completely bereft of any useful talent. Don’t worry though; I’m sure all the grannies love you!

an old man in a young mans body....wait hold on a young man in an old mans body with the face of a constipated turtle..... actually there is nothing young about him except the fact he wasnt born that long ago, its like god pressed fast forward on his life. He strikes me as that guy who awas in your class that no one really liked and hung around with his mammy too much talking adult with her and her friends.

saying that they are both just "trash tv".

    What news paper was this?

I honestly hate BB but LOST is excellent and enjoyable.

    Perhaps Turbirty needs the money.

Ryan Tubs'n'Tiles is Dave McSavage's first cousin and former foreign affairs minister David Andrews' nephew.

    Enough said.

I would post a transcript of the article for you all to see, but that would involve me actualy having to read it again which frankly, is something I'm not very keen on. He did say that there's not enough of a buzz about the show and that noone talks about it. I think the ratings each week show that, yes, people are actually watching it. Perhaps people just don't want to talk about it with you Ryan? Eh? Perhaps people don't want to talk to you at all?! Ever think of that?! I bet when he walks down a street and people he knows sees him coming, they duck into the nearest shop or rubbish skip just to avoid having to talk to his malnourished pathetic arrogant face!!!

I will say one more thing about it. He mentions that he likes how they throw a twist into the story and you have to tune in next week to find out more about it. His example is when (and I'm paraphrasing here) "some guy shows up from the 'other land'"...... "Other land"?! Is he watching the same show as us?!

There is no Frank Sinatra or Beatles incidental music, so obviously he isn't going to like it.

The fact that there are a whole lot of people on an island has touches of "Reality TV" about it. :p

If it's that bad why does he watch it every week? He's just trying to sound controversial to make his column more interesting.

I heard him talking about it on his radio show aswell. The guy is an idiot, plain and simple!

It was indeed the Sunday World, not Ireland on Sunday. Tubridy is a tit, he clearly has no idea as to what fantasy television is, his complaint was somewhere along the lines that Lost was trash TV because he saw a Polar Bear in an episode and that these 40 people only had scars on them after the plane crash. He has missed the entire point of the show, the man is an idiot.
