    Can I port to another network if I am 6 months into a contract or am I stuck for 6 more months

    you can port over but you will basicially need to buy out the remainder of the contract. Vodafone and o2 usually do this at the lowest line rental rate, which is about 15. So 15 x 6 = 90 is what you'll be looking at.

    Also keep onto your latest copy of you bill as you probably need that to port over the number

    O2 is 15e/month, Vod is 19e/month.

    Vodafones termination fees are simple the lowest tarif which is 19euro and you pay that for every month you have left on your contract
