Is the first one Metropolis and the second one The Grudge?

First one's definitely Metropolis, I'd say, monkeyfudge - there's a hell of a hint in the far right of the picture ;)

It's funny the things you recognise... it was actually the window I recognised in the Grudge picture.

Any ideas on the third one there Gadget?

Stumped right at the minute, I'm afraid... relatively generic kitchen scenes aren't that easy to pin down (for me, anyway...). The only thing that occurs to me is that the lighting is odd as it seems to be bright outside (in somewhere hot enough for palm trees...), yet the kitchen is obviously strongly illuminated from the inside as well - seems kinda unusual? (Looks a bit more like TV lighting than movie lighting to me, but I could be just reading too much into it)

[edit]If I was to (really) stick my neck out, I'd suspect it's the kind of movie that doesn't try to set any sort of atmosphere (at least in the visual sense) - I'd guess it's recent, and probably a rom-com, but that's as close as I'd say that I get... how's that for going out on a limb?
