Well playing online at PPP i certainly never ever play AA with raising until i see the flop cause odds are that u will be pinned to wall and robbed. I understand the play though. Never believe in the 75% rule if u play online.

On the other hand do u believe it wise to go in with A 4 i understand that its very tempting to go all in to get the tourney over but there are alot of tourney leads overturned by thinking about the last hand. I know u could lose chips consistently but u could get AA next hand and wipe the floor with him and grap first.

    Aces was unlucky

    A4 was a bad call

you wouldn`t believe the battle we had. best heads-up game in ages!
thought i had him sussed as he was making moves with any picture card, regardless.
thought he was protecting his blind cos i was after making a comeback.
he had me at different stages of the game.

in retrospect, it was a bad call but i was thinking 50/50, i was still getting 2nd prize.maybe my patience was worn!

    as regards the Aces.
i made my standard raise. he put me all in. he had 2 cards in the deck to win.
if i folded Aces preflop any time i raised and got reraised, i`d be a broken man.surely i`m miles ahead?
if you don`t raise before the flop with As, you must be leaving abominable hands in for a shot?
what if there a flush draw on the flop and a few callers with a piece of it? do you recommend going all-in then?

if u were indeed playing on PPP i would only be safe looking at 3 aces on the flop cause some ridiculous hands come out like one time i saw 2 people right beside each other go all in with the exact same hand QQ i said to myself only on PPP.

I know any Ace heads up is golden but u have to really look at your odds simple call tells u if u can win and first prize of about $500 deserves a simple call to see that u are in with a chance at least if a flop like QQJ comes up and he bets all in u can always get out with still enough to cause some serious damage to his stack.

To be fair to him the '...pinned to wall and robbed...' part of the post made me laugh.

I agree, this has been discussed before on this forum and a lot of people said they fold aces preflop because theyre afraid to lose a lot of money,

As for Davey could you kindly stop tapping the aquarium
