I imagine it would be illegal to have a private BBQ in Phoenix Park. A picnic would be fine, but anything with fire involved is different.

    Public grounds. Fire. Permission needed.

Like anything there Grimloch any event like that would have all sorts of permits and strict guidelines. They wouldn't allow Mokeymokey and his mates to go up and have one though.

I stand corrected. Permits and Inspectors would be the order of the day. Thinking about it I'd be cautious letting a load of people armed with alcohol and fire near a big forest.

With all that food and beer there is certain to be a lot of air pollution as the evening goes on, especially if someone brings a tin of beans. :)

This sounds a bit dodgy. No wonder they won't let it happen in the Phoenix Park! :)

    Alcohol might also be prohibited.

She has them regularly in fact. Invitation only of course, but there are lots of them.

I spend a good bit of time in the park, there seems to be BBQs there regularly enough, mostly seems to be foreigners, I think they are fine as long as people clean up after themselves.

Plenty of other people just sit out near the Wellington Monument and leave empty cans of Dutch Gold and trash everywhere....

Don't get me started on the Deer droppings!
