Johnnie Walkers's chips are excellent but the fish leaves a lot to be desired. At my last visit to Cunninghams I bought nice big fluffy white cod. I have never got anything like it in Walkers. In contrast Walkers cod (?), covered with an equal amount of batter, is thin and off white. At 4 euro I am afraid it has gone off my menu. God be with the fish in Patrick St.

Johnnie Walkers has Scallops though :)

I think the overall quality of Cunninghams has gone down drastically over the past few years as they started employing non-family into the business.

So Johnnie Walkers wins for me :)

What do you mean by non-family, are the 2 brothers not working there as much? They've had "non-family" workers there for as long as I can remember, maybe the staff turnover is a bit higher now than it used to be though..

As previously mentioned Johnnie Walker's do the scallops :D

& the Scallop Buttie is one mean feast with a chip I tell thee! Wrap your jaws round one today & then get back to me! ;)

    :p

Cunninghams has gone down the tubes IMO compared to what they were years ago. The Beach grill do a far superior product. :D

Big fresh flakey fluffy cod to be found in Ballybricken. Not as good as Cunninghams but much better then Johnny Walkers.
