Chorus Digital widescreen channels?

    I am getting seriously p####d off with Sky (5th sky+ box in under 2 years and now cannot view anything until i get a new card :mad: :mad: and will miss charity shield tomorrow). Do Chorus show RTE1/2, UTV,C4, BBC, SKY1 in widescreen yet? I had it a few years ago and they were not and am wondering if they have changed?

    afaik Chrous just rebroadcast the analogue versions of the Irish channels. as for the rest i really dont have a clue

    The following are broadcast in widescreen (where 16:9 content is available):
    BBC Three / CBBC
    BBC Four / CBeebies
    BBC News 24
    Sky One
    E4
    QVC Shopping
    Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3 / Xtra
    Sky Movies 1 - 9
    At The Races
    ITV 3

    RTE 1 & 2, TV 3, TG4, BBC 1, BBC 2, UTV & Channel 4 are all digitized versions of analogue and therefore are in the 14:9 picture format.

    that leaves chorus as the only one who does not broadcast rte in widescreen .I wonder wil it change when the takeover is complete and what about channel lineup will they standardise it ?
