Best customer service?

Okay, I haven't posted here for some time, but how about something a bit positive?

How about companies that actually have good customer service? (Cos if I get started on how bad Apple are, I'll get upset)

The best customer service I've received has been from Creative. They went out of their way to help me replace my Zen MP3 player when the sound stopped working properly, even though I had no proof of purchase.

Any other companies offering *good* customer service?

ok, so it mightnt be the style of company your analysing, but I gotta say Superquinn.
From hearing feedback from my Mum as a kid, and now getting first hand experience as a shopper, they sure do adhere to "The Customer is King" point that Fergal Quinn preaches.
Cant think of any big companies off hand... i guess thats a bad sign.
Actually, I've probably had little run ins with companies over customer service thankfully :)

O2 were pleasant enough to deal with and HMV have been sound about a few defective products they've sold me.

Dell have good customer service on the sales end of things but that appears to be the boundaries of their competence.

I used to like UTV's but then with the launch of the UTV Talk service - they got very very poor.

Dell are OK, tho lately its like "Questions And Answers" when you get through to support (sometimes miles away) and often im speaking to somebody who speaks very little english.

O2 and Vodafone are the best. O2 give free credit sometimes as an appology, which is a nice gesture. Vodafone are nearly always pleasnt and polite.

I find that end to be fairly crap but their sales team are quite good, after that its pretty bog standard.

M&S on Henry street, always been amazed and impressed with the obvious quality of training that goes into the staff..all levals..from the checkout person to the managers dealing with a query, far and away the best customer service i've ever got (and continue to get..shop there frequently).

Aldi, this is a quote from a thread about returning a 7 month old faulty laptop which I hadn't got a receipt for to Aldi just the other day:
Brilliant, walked into Aldi with my laptop on (it was in the middle of formatting, haha) and spoke to the manager who straight away asked what price it was and said she'll get the money. That was basically that. No problem with not having the receipt or anything. I got my cash straight back and got a cent more than I paid!

Really that simple. Within 30 seconds of talking to the manager she said she would give me a full refund

Yeah, I like Superquinn also, recently bought some meat there that when I got it back wasnt the freshest, when I bought it back the woman on CS desk was so apologetic and said she would pass on how unsatisfactory it was to the butchers dept. (I wasnt even overly complaining!) went and replaced the item and gave me a €5 gift voucher for my trouble.

Which I thought was prety good seeing as I wasnt even making a big fuss!!

I also quite like Banking 365, they may not always be able to help but they are 9/10 really friendly which makes a change from most companies!!!
