I got a Crosshatch top as a present. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about the brand because I know absoultely nothing about them.

Is it cheap tack or what?

They aren't too expensive. I've a few crosshatch t-shirts that were only 10 or 15 euro. I have no experience with the long sleeved variety.

The quality of their tops is certainly better than their jean quality.

    So yes.

If you were told it was expensive would that make a difference? Can't you tell if it's cheap or not by the quality?....

Nope, it looks okay but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a pikey brand.

Unique menswear definately and Motion Picture maybe. There's a shop in the Ilac or Jervis, (I don't know which is which) I think too that sells them.

Wait a second Unique?Motion picture?Good quality? The answer has to be no.

I've seen them in the window of Unique in the Stephen's Green centre.. "Cross Hatch" didn't really strike me as a brand, but more like random text written on the T-shirts to make them look interesting.

Then again I'm not much of a branded T-shirt person - T-shirts should either be nerdy or funny. :)

SOME of their t-shirts are pretty wicked, and i have a really nice desert camo windcheater by them.... they have a cople of really ultra naff "its cool in dun laoighre" style t-shirts, but you can find the odd gem if you're lucky... only problem is that same problem you have with every kind of "high street" chainstore - you'll always see some gimp wearing the same t shirt as you and making it look cráp

*aware of irony of last sentence*

Oddly enough the ten euro T-shirt jobs are pretty good quality. I've no issues with them yet.

    10 euros for a tee?

i haven't been shopping in a while but considering how this country is going they are probably on par with dunnes in terms of price.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,688 ✭✭✭grimloch

I'm sure Dunnes can sell at about 5 or 6. Either way they are good value.

Compared to the 25-30 euro a tshirt jobs located elstwhere.

Nah no a hint of dunnes about them. Think about it like, theres féck all cost in making t-shirts with a logo on them, theyre just not ripping you off like other snobbier brands.

    They can't be beat
