Don't know if this suggestion will actually make the slightest bit of difference but why not CC a guy called Tony Barrett in the Departmet of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources whenever anyone is writing an email to a broadband provider to make a complaint about some aspect of their broadband service, be that billing, the connection or whatever.

The email address is given as the one to us in relation to broadband, it is tony.barrett@dcmnr.gov.ie and I suppose there is no reason not to include the email address minister@dcmnr.gov.ie in the CC either!

If nothing else they might realise that there are consumers out there who are suffering due to the complete lack of direction in the broadband rollout and implimentation policy of the government and the disappointing response of COMREG!

because if everyone in the country with a BB issue starts CC'ing these address's they quickly become black hole and go nowhere if they're not blackhole all ready that is.

Hey, be optimistic, it'd take a while for these email addresses to become black holes and with the addresses in the CC field of the email it might encourage a better response to whatever the complaint is from the service provider.

The more people that do it the better, bunging up a couple of inboxes with broadband complaints won't hurt since the email complaints are gonna be sent with or without these email address in the CC field anyway.
