how to get free GAA wallpapers + ringtones

    :D Steps:
    1. go to [url]about:blank[/url] and join [it`s free + gives you 6,000 points]

    2. click on the GAA button + click the link to your county

    3. pick what you want

    4. click `BUY WITH POINTS` button

    5. a link will be sent to your mobile so you can download it

    ***: make sure your phone is wap enabled.

    Am I the only one who thinks that doing the above will result in you being subscribed to all sorts of Crazy Frog-style crap?

    Or am I just being a tad sceptical?

    you're right to be sceptical. there are some sites where you think your getting something, then yo uend up being charged a monthly fee.

    But I did the above last week and haven't been billed for anything. Just got an email newsletter , but you cn easily unsubsrcibe from that.

    Don't think I'll chance it nonetheless. If someone else wants to dip their toe in the water and see how it goes, then I might sign up.

    I just checked out that site KarenMich. I got a cool Dublin GAA wallpaper for my phone and Fifa 2005 mobile game for free, how bad is that???

    I also had a quick look at their T&C's because like Lemlin I didn't want to get stung by some sneaky subscription service, but they made a point of stressing that the site wasn't about that. They say they are a new site and are giving away free games to the first 2000 users.

    Anyway thanks for the heads up and Come on the Dubs.

    Something leads me to believe that, if it was checked, KarenMich would have the exact same IP as Imagechef.

    Can't we get this thread deleted or locked?

    Wallpapers and ringtones are just a con and a rip-off. Sure you can have a nice wallpaper, but you are not going to spend everyday staring at your mobile phone, so it doesn't matter what wallpaper it is. Equally, when your phone rings it is to alert you to someone wanting to speak to you. If you just sit there admiring the ringtone and listening to it, you'll miss the call. Stick with wallpapers and ringtones that are on your phone. Instead of downloading nice ringtones, use one that is already on it and that you hate. It may encourage you to answer your phone quicker! :)

    I got a free GAA wallpaper anyway. I just took a picture of the Cavan crest on my jersey and set it as my wallpaper!

    Simple as without having to register anywhere.

    Not quiet. It shows that maybe you were conned by another gimmick: The camera phone. Or do you actually have a real camera?
