    go the extra 50e and get the ultrasharp- I have one and they are very clear and vibrant. Well worth the extra.

    The ultrasharp is ~e85 more. I was thinking of getting that one myself, but I might drop down and get the mainstream 17'' one.

    i got the ultrasharp 19. Very crisp at 1280x1024. fairly strong too.

    Wow, I haven't seen 19" monitors that cheap, including VAT anywhere. I'm looking for 2.

    one 19" [gaming] and one 15" [work]

    IrishTLR - dell had a buy one and get a second 50% off over the last few weeks - keep an eye out though

    Man, if I'd have known they were offering 50% off a second one, I WOULD have bought them then. Bummer. I WILL be keeping an eye on their site from now on.

    I don't think you missed anything. As far as I can see before they implemented the 50% offer they upped the prices by 25% thus cancelling out the discount. Once the offer ended the prices dropped back down to what you can get now.
