I don't think Special Day's 500 11.5gram set can be beaten for value in Dublin at €69.99. There may be better deals to be had on eBay though. They have free shipping on it too at their online shop - http://www.specialdays.ie/

    Ok thanks.

whats the difference between the clay and the composite chips anyway??

One is clay (ceramic) the others are plastic composite. The clay ones just feel better, and sound better.

Try the 9gram Vegas €109 for 500. they are worth the extra €40 in my humble opinion.

The 9g vegas will be coming down in price slightly to €99 for the 500 set. (same prices as for 13.5g clay chips) We are also adding in a new royal flush clay design.

Prices will be updated Monday but all orders taken over the weekend will have new price applied.

The Argos chips are 9g resin / plastic chips. They are from Cardinal Games.
(Bought a set to check it out)

Nice enough set from a standard point of view, but not nearly as good as our 11.5g set which include all plastic cards at 69.95

Our 9g plastic set of 500 retail at 49.95

Similarly our table-top is 59.95 against the argos price of 79.95 with free delivery throughout Ireland.

While casually browsing through the red cow market today. I cane across a stall selling poker chips and tables chear then any store prices I have seen
They also had a "devil fish" brand which seemed to be of excellant quality.

best deal was a hex table, 300 11gr chips, two decks and dice for €69.00.

worth checking out.... They also have the royal flush and vegas style chips. took the guys phone number as he said he would deliver if the order was large enough. I will pass on the details if you want them PM or just go to the red cow market.
