Thunderbird Dll

    Hi,
I recently re-installed XP, I backed up my Application Data of Thunderbird, a folder called Mozilla and a folder called Thunderbird, I simply put these two folders onto an external hard drive, when I reinstalled, I set up TB again and then copied these folders replacing any files that were there. Now everything seems fine (all my emails/accounts are still there etc) but when I start it it says I'm missing a msvcr71.dll and that reinstalling TB may help. I did but it still has the same problem. How did I get this problem? Why don't I have that .dll file? I had a minimise to tray plug in but that wont work because it says "cannot find binary component, please make sue you have all dll files before continuing" so I'm guessing that lies with the msvcr71.dll issue.

    Any feedback appreciated:)

You can download the dll from here.

It might be just a case of reinstalling the extention to get it working again.

    Thanks for the tips!

Does anyone know where I have to put that .dll now? Also, how come it didn't install it for me this time but it must have had it on my last laptop, right? If you guys search for msvcr71.dll on your system, do you get a result? Where is it located?
