Alot there to look forward to.... all starting on the 29th with Prison Break -- which I predict will last 3 weeks before its pulled by fox (no matter how good/acclaimed it is) and replaced with Midget Disco Fever.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but the brillant 'Spin City' was axed a couple of years back, as far as i can remember!

Soon after Bill Lawrence took on 'Scrubs'..

IMDB says it was axed in 2002!

My comment was directed at Basquille, who said 'Will a movie star ever starring in a sitcom ever work?!?'. :)

    Maybe i phrased it wrong!

I meant stuff like 'What About Joan?' (Joan Cusack's short lived "sitcom") and "Fat Actress" (Kirstie Alley) - the sitcoms typically with the particular movie stars lives in it's storieslines.

'Spin City' was definantly no failure - a fantastic series though when Charlie Sheen came in, it did sorta go downhill!

You said "Will a "movie star" ever starring in a sitcom ever work?!?)" to which I gave an example of one that did.

Spin City had a movie star and it worked. I am well aware it was axed several years ago, if I remember correctly it had something to do with said movie star quitting to be replaced by someone more famous for drugs, hookers and beating women. Strangely enough that wasn't a recipe for continued success, who would have thunk.

Clever of Fox to start the OC ahead of all the other Thursday competitors, might give it an edge when everything else starts up, I just hope Alias doesn't tank this year, I'm buzzed about season 5.
