Im looking for graphic design jobs at the moment, alot of them require you to have mac experience. Is there much of a difference between the 2 systems? Surely apps like photoshop and such would be exactly the same or am i wrong? Plus where is the best place to look for these kind of jobs. I find i am getting no response from most of the CV's i am emailing from jobs websites. I think i have had 3 automated replies from about 20 applications.

Photoshop on a mac would be fairly similar, imho the major difference that you would have to get used to is the one-click system that macs use over the left-click/right-click system that windows uses. Also MAC OS can take a bit of getting used to your best bet is probably purchasing a mac, mac-mini's are a good bet for basic use (though to run photoshop, etc on said machines yoyu may want a more powerful system), to give yourself some experience in macs that you could then indicate on your cv.

Common job websites out there are www.irishjobs.ie and www.monster.ie

i would say the main reason for the lack of replys to your applications is probably the lack of mac experience that you have, especially if tehy indicate mac as a requirement
