    just a little something i noticed while flicking channels tonight. see the attachment. a blast from the past. picture quality isnt the best though :(

    The BBC Choice DOG is on BBC1, you'd think it would be well deleated, I'm working on a better picture.

    Thats surprising, althout seeing Knowledge would be rarer now

    Never saw it with regional branding ever though - it does say "Choice NI" there

    When BBC Digital launched, all services had DOGs - i.e "BBC ONE NI", "BBC CHOICE NI", "BBC ONE Scotland" etc. After viewer complaints, all DOGs were removed (except News 24) before the end of 1998.

    The BBC CHOICE DOG was reinstated a few years later, first in England, then Wales, then, when regional CHOICE was axed, everywhere else.

    Talking of DOGs - has anyone seen the "Dogs dinner" now being used on BBC THREE?
