What a ridiculous title for such a thread. Surely potential drummers will be looking for posts that say "Drummer Needed", you're judt going to get loads of people reading this that aren't drummers, it's completely counter-productive.

not really, perhaps one could argue that it is unproductive, but counter-productive? how?

Counter-productive in that it's doing the opposite of what you want to do which is attract drummers. A drummer looking for a band is not going to look hear first and my not want to waste his/her time with a thread entitled "boobies" in a bands/musicians forum. What's more it gets loads of people who aren't drummers at all to look at thread and it wastes everyones time. I'm sure when you saw us reply to this you thought "oh great loads of drummers" then were disappointed when it wasn't the case. It's especially a false sense of hope and a waste of your time.

I wouldn't want a drummer with no sense of humour.

And it's not counter productive, it's not the opposite to what one should do looking for a drummer, it's just not the conventional way, it would be counter productive If I made a thread saying "I don't want a drummer, fúck off!".

it's also an extremely chauvinist thing to do. How small a brain would anyone have to post something under ***boobies***. It's just silly and offencive to some. Meh, i hope you get a drummer though!
