    Doom 3
    Halo
    Call of Duty
    UT2004

And something for now... Halo demo.
This should run great on your PowerBook, it runs pretty ok on my 12" iBook with 1.2GHz G4 processor, 512MB RAM and 32MB Radeon 9200 graphics card. (of course, 12" is TINY for games...)

Wine is an open source programme to allow windows games and programmes to run on Linux by reverse engineering common windows libraries. It might be ported to OSX, or if you're up for a challenge, you could try recompiling it yourself. That could increase the amount of games you can play.

No, this won't work. WINE works by masking windows system calls with Linux equivalents. The program is still running on a 386, tho; hence WINE only runs on 386 Linuxes. When Apple shift to Intel in a few years, you'll no doubt be able to do similar.
