Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Having recently returned from Canada when I took part in Several shorts I am looking to do same here.
Was wondering how people find out about auditions for film/theatre here without the use of an agent ?
Are there any message boards or particular places I should be keeping a look out ??

    All advice appreciated :)

    There's a few places-

    MovieExtras.ie
    Backstage Agency
Also Assets model agency have a section for tv/film extras.

With all of the above I think you have to pay a membership fee and that includes your photoshoot. You can get a lot of work out of it.

Also you could try the trinity film society website -http://dufilmmakers.rslw.com/

Go into FilmBase in Templebar and put contact details on the notice board.

Or just make yourself known to the lads here who might be making a few shorts.
