I have decided that a new printer is definetly neccesary. I haven't bought such a device in a while, anyone got any recommendations on what's available now?
I just need something for general printing but I'm planning on getting a digital camera soon.

get one of the psc range from hp...they are a printer scanner copier and a lot of them are low priced with a good photo quality...also have a card reader on thm for your digi memory cards

Go for one of the Canon Pixma iP range: iP1000, iP1500, iP2000, iP3000, iP4000, iP5000. Don't know if it goes above that. They are very cheap and ink is cheap enough if memory serves.
