Internet Poker is Fixed

I've just looked over some PokerTracker stats and can definately say that online poker is rigged.

The hand I've had most often over around 3k STT hands is 92o. And of those 40times, I managed to win twice.. both times in the BB. (although I'm sure if I hadn't folded 36 of the other 38 times I would've made a full house)

Of course, I have had AA 17 times which is more than you would expect but my win rate is only 70.59% which is below the 75% rule - so that just adds to my original argument .. doesn't it ?

And what really fecks things up, is that i've only had QQ 10 times.. and have won 90% of those pots. That has to be fixed. I mean.. I remember clearly having those Ax merchants outdraw me about 20 times when I had QQ..

Damn this PokerTracker.. to hell with it and it's lies and deceit !!

On a more serious note... does anyone have some tips/links on using it well ?

Is the Omaha version useful yet ?

what are you complaining about!!! I would love if my aces won that much. I think my stats were like 42% for aces. I wish i had 70%!

You win 70% with AA.

You have to look at the hands which you are losing with.

What beat me

How many callers was in the flop.

You have to remember that if you have 3 or more callers for the flop your AA aren't as strong as you may think as someone could easily hit a set or be on a straight of flush draw.

Did you raise preflop and how much are you getting to many callers for your raise.

Are you slow playing the hands.

Look at your own play first.

At the end of the day if you think internet poker is fixed then don't play it.

If you play it don't complain.

3k hands is but a drop in the ocean. It may tell you a few things if you look into individual hands but the percentages could still be quite a bit off.

Around 10k hands is where it starts becoming useful to improve your game. Are you using GT+ or PokerAce? If not you are really missing out.

I didn't mean for anyone to take me seriously about it being rigged... was really just looking for Pokertracker tips/links and I had read something in another thread about a '75% AA win rule' that stuck in my head :rolleyes:

Yeah, I realise 3k isn't much of a sample but I'm not concerned about any of the stats just yet.. - I'm just trying to get to grips with the software. It's just such a shame I didn't get it earlier.

your statistics cannot prove anything... u'd need at least 10,000 iterations of any 2 cards b4 u could draw any conclusion. Even at that, some players do not play AA as well as others which could skew the stats in PokerTracker even further.

I'd even do a 'This is why it's not rigged' Post when I have the 10k hands .. only there would still be some tin foil hat wearers

I think one of the great things about it, is that when you think you're running bad you can actually go look at the hard facts which will either:
(a) Show you that you're just playing bad
or
(b) Confirm that you're just on a downswing which will help limit how much your confidence suffers when poker becomes a hard game
