September getaway!

    Folks, Need to get away for a week in September, thinking third week - Where can i go? and at what cost..
    May go on my own and so far i've been quoted 600 for a week in Salou or Crete.. is this average?
    Also, anyone ever been away for a week on their own?
    Is it unusual or peaceful!?

    I've been away on my own ......... for a year ! :D
    I went on a trip to Australia/New Zealand/Cook Islands/L.A. last year. Travelling solo is great because you can go where you like when you like and hang out with whoever you want to !!

    I too am planning on going on a one week (or two week?) holiday (c.mid-October) and will be going solo too. It's not a problem travelling solo - it's a great experience ! :)

    OP, if you are going away for a week and you want to head somewhere like Crete or anywhere Mediterranean you can get deals for a lot less than 600 especially as the date is drawing closer. You can get yourself an apartment/studio in Salou or Crete for around 300 to 400 if you look in the right places. Check the windows of a nearby Budget Travel shop or go to budgettravel.ie or panoramaholidays.ie.
