Ok, not sure if this is the right place but ill flake away anyway. If the mods think it more apt somewhere else feel free to move it.

I want to update a file in excel every week. The file has multiple sheets. On every sheet there are multiple graphs and tables. To update all i do is update some pivot tables.

Every other table is linked to the various pivot tables and so they all update automatically.
Thing is there are hundreds of different graphs and at the moment i have to update them manually. This takes the best part of a day to do and I know that that there has to be a better way to do it.

I was thinking about using an IF statement or something in the Values option under the series section of Source Data.
For example " IF(A1=0, doesnt update graph, updates graph) " but that doesnt seem to work. Does anyone have any idea how to this.

I imagine like most things in excel its going to be so incredibly obvious ill be ashamed of myself for not figuring it out

I am assuming that the information the graph uses is scattered throught the information on your sheets.

So create a new worksheet, and in it create a table for each graph.
Instead of typing the information into the cells, press '=' and then click on the cell that contains the automatically updated information.

Now create your graphs based on these new tables, est voila!

When your information updates, your new tables will sutomatically update and in turn your graphs will update.
