wats wrong with my winrar?

when i try openin rar files, the following shows up: any ideas wats goin on it then says tat the file is corrput, but its sayin tos for all rar files

looks like its a split volume, i.e. its one big file split into a number of rar's. You'll probally need all parts (part1, part 2, part* etc) to get the file.

I also think WINRAR will tell you how big the contents of the zipped files are even from one volume so compare that to the size of the parts you have, that should give you an idea of how many more you need for the full archive. If you have all the parts put them all in the same folder and do what you do and if that box comes up hit browse and point it to the file its looking for. If any of the parts are corrupted, you should probally have to download them again, or depending where you got them you may be able to repair the broken ones.
