Seeing the flop

Ok, i've been playing for real money since Saturday.
Playing the lowest level on PPP.

Initially i was waiting for premium hands and only really playing those.

But i've found myself seeing the flop with almost anything.
I've had a look at my stats and i'm seeing 75% of flops, that's including my cagey play at the start.
    It's only over 500 hands.

I've found i can take people by surprise with unexpected hands low trips or flopped straights/flushes stuff like that.

So i'm just curious if this is a decent enough tactic or should i be limiting the number of flops i'm seeing a bit more.

Actually i think i read that thread and it may have been where i got the idea.

It seems to be working much the same as Tackle had found it.
I'm only playing the lowest limits, if i'm limping i fold to the slightest raise pre-flop.
I've found i usually hit something and take a decent pot before i've lost money.

Obviously it's not a good long term strategy moving up limits.

Perhaps i'll try and tighten up a little more and see what happens.

At that level the cost of seeing the flop relative to the average size of the pots is quite low, so you have higher implied odds. It might not hurt to tighten up a little though, especially in early position. If you're playing mediocre and poor hands then out of position you are bound to play into a "real hand" at some point and break yourself.
