Meeting other gamers in Dublin

Well, title says it all. looking possibly to join a group of gamers in dublin for some fun and laughs. i dont know of any clubs or places where a man can go for things such as these. maybe someone runs a gaming club or something similar?

my real name is david nolan, im 20, bout 5'11, broad shouldered, weigh in at a ground stomping 230. (dont worry. i wont eat you. unless im hungry.) id like to think im sociable. i enjoy having a laugh, bringing hardcore gay porn to computer clubs, duct taping people to their chairs and making them watch it over and over again, and creeping computer club managers out with bad gay jokes. im unemployed, and ive been told that with my current haircut i look like a fat elvis impersonator.

now, onto the good stuff: im a hardcore FPS player. cs, dod, ns, bf2, pretty much any fps made since 1982. ill play it all. and probably beat you, too. :)
i enjoy beat em ups. my favourite has to be super smash bros. for n64, and it's sequel, ssbm. tekken etc. i had a decent skill at, but i find doing linear combos over and over again constrict to combat. the flow of ssb just cant be copied. im also an rts player. ive played nwn, morrowind, baldurs...etc. i currently play wow. lvl 42 paladin on arathor ftw.

Im from blanchardstown, and i suppose id be prepared to commute to a club. something local would be much nicer. especially since i dont own a laptop, and if i was attending a lan i would like to not have to lug this bulky bastard of a computer round dublin.

now, that being said, im not looking to start or host a club. i have neither the time(just because i dont have a job dosnt mean i dont have responcibilities), inclination, or money (no job, remember? must have mentioned it 4 times by now? screw it. NO JOB. HAHAHA) to do something like that.

to sum it all up: im looking for a group or club of like minded people who enjoy gaming in a relaxed atmosphere in dublin, who would be willing to invite me in.

anyways, sorry for the long post, hope to hear from you soon. im not sure if there's a place for this type of thing, if there is, i apologies for putting it here. seemed like the best thing to do at the time. anyways, see you soon :)
