Staying off topic is just the same as taking the thread off topic imo. Usually this isn't much of a problem but when people have been asked to stay on topic it is natural that one would be banned for being off topic.

If that statement were true, then the forum would not be needed.

If it's a worthy addition to boards, it'll be carried on by all the other interested parties support-wise.

It's amazing to think that you wouldn't be banned for going way off topic after another user had been banned for the exact same thing previously.

May i add that this is the first time ive requested a forum or even visited the forums board. Therefore i dont know the run of things. Iam on the verge of leaving this place. i request something relevent and i am called '' The ****tard requesting an islam forum'' and all sorts. This is exactly what fuzzboy wanted.

Before you do, check out the little triangular icon at the bottom left of all the posts. Rather than defending your reputation in the thread that wasn't designed for that purpose, you should have used that button to report the offensive post and left the relevant people deal with it.

That's a general rule that applies to all forums. The button is present on all posts throughout the site (except for those you post yourself).

Generally if your told to keep on topic then best thing to do is just that. Yea it can kill you that some muppet before you had posted something that you are dying to reply to and clear your name/reputation on but you just take it to PM or to a forum that is more on the subject (in your case not available yet).
