Hi I'm thinking of wiping out all the flies in Ireland. After I do this you can call me a saint a we will have an extra abnk holiday. As you all can see there are many pros and few cons. Anyone got ideas on how to drive the flies from the Irish continent.

My solution? Learn geography. Ireland isn't a continent :p

Flies are annoying it is true, but they generally don't bother me. I don't smell, so they don't follow me around. Maybe you could take more showers?

I'm thinking its goin to be hard to destory the flies but maybe if we all do our own little part it may be possible. I have designed a game to help you practice defeating the fly - http://hendrik.meriones.net/FliesCatchingGame.html

Flies and other insects do have their uses. People think we have waste problems now. It is nothing compared to what it would be without insects. What do you think happens to the last of dead of animals, rotting food and the bits of stuff that don't get put into the pooper scoopers? Insects can be very annoying and bring lots of problems, but they are there for a reason, particularly as the planet's greatest waste-disposal experts.

What Flukey said. Also, no flies results in spiders possibly dying out, and the effects they have on the system also diminish and so on. It'd create a mass effect that most people are ignorant towards.

In easy speak, it'd be less annoying for squirmish people, but also a major negative affect on pretty much all of us. Don't be too quick to dish out shovels of death on yonder flies!
