    What type aerial is needed in enfield to recieve irish stations and where should it point.

    As far as I know

    UHF wideband (Horizontal) pointed at Three Rock (South of Dublin)
    or
    UHF group C/D (Vertical) pointed at Claremont (North of Dundalk)
    or
    Or VHF/UHF setup pointed at Kippure (Wicklow)

    Assuming you have an unobstructed path Three Rock is probably your best option although If youre trying to diplex with a BBC aerial then Claremont might be handier
