Slang really grinds my gears so much especially the following "The shades = The Gardai", "Geebag" , "Shifting or meetin as in man and woman dating" and one that rrrreally gets up my nose is Limerick slang for a good lookin woman a "byour" .

Feel free to post anything and everything that grinds your gears.

shifting and meeting aren't dating, they're just excessive snogging, either once off or on a regular basis.
people pretending to be something they're not just to get some of the oppposite sex and people who think something of someone just for some stupid reason, I owned my own boat when like 14 and people who didn't know me went around calling me a "posh b!tch" and then when I started Tae Kwon Do I had people staarting on me saying "Ah you tink your so hard just cuz you does Karatae" or whatever they called it!

Already got a "Get it off your chest" thread for this kinda stuff, tbh...

Here's on tho, while I'm here:
People posting a thread on a subject shortly after said subject has been debated to death in a previous thread on boards. And this goes on ad-f**king-infinitum. Especially in PI. Drives me up the wall, so it does. Search the damn forum before you stick a thread in it.

P.S. Not directed at you Willem D, it just came to mind.

You owned your own boat when you were 14???

What was that, some good calls on the stock market and more than a little luck at the cards?

In fairness ... I see where they are coming from ... Christ ...
