Dvd burning?

I have a Samsung TS-H552U DVD burner on may computer I am trying to burn on to some datawrite Titanium 8x DVD+R. But the disks keep failing at about 35% any ideas what I can do. I have used other branded DVD R’s and they all worked. :confused:

Could be a firmware or software issue
See http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php for firmware updates
Otherwise ensure your burning software is uptodate

if the other disks you used were only 4x make sure you have the finer ide cable,

a mate had lots of trouble with a dvd-burner on a ata-33 cable.
