    Don't know who wrote it. It sounds cool. Something about a boy who mows down his classmates, and his mother writes letters to the dad about whether she ever should have had a son.

    Or something.

    It's "We need to talk about Kevin" and it's by Lionel Shriver. It won the Orange Prize, and is supposed to be pretty good... I'm sceptical though... Can't remember why, but I didn't get a good impression from extracts I read.
