    The smile of Life

    Today it just became harder to walk this world of mine,
    Lost souls and bought souls devouring our time,
    Let me walk without these political crutches,
    And let me see without these filtered eyes.
    Let me hear without these silenced beliefs,
    And let me take you to a place that's mine.
    I'm trying to make some sense of it all,
    But it's a long shot,
    Your arms and sun drenched kisses are all I've got,
    Searching life's hidden gardens, I've been walking for a mile,
    And all I've found out is happiness is nothing without your smile
    If I can't be with you, then show me how it feels?
    Living life beside you, making promises through dreams,
    Hope and all that surrounds you only springs eternal in name,
    Here it comes-here it comes again.
