I really only brought it for the novelty after hearing Green blood on 2fm, a dublin rapper :D . Anyway I think its suprisingly good, dublin bus and get out are pretty solid tunes.

I doubt it would have much appeal abroad though, I dont think theyd be able to get over the accent but definetly worth a listen to.

Has anyone listened to this or have it.

I heard one of his songs on 2fm and thought it was class and then I saw him at o2 in the park yesterday and realised he's brilliant and he was one of the only people there who didn't lip sing every song. I'm definately gonna get his album tomorrow!

Dunno. There is something very childish about his songs.

I just don't think it works. It's too... fake?

Fair play to him for having the balls to give it a go though.

    Fake in what sense?

It's like he's trying very hard to be "Irish".

It just doesn't seem natural to me.

    Just my opinion...

But he is Irish. How can he be trying too hard to be what he already is?

Come on, you know what I mean.

For example, the Fun Lovin' Criminals. Could they try any harder to be from New York?

It's just not natural to me.

And his accent is very very strong. To rap like that he must be making an effort to speak very "Irish".

I really don't want to criticise the guy, as I said, fair play to him for having the balls for this. It's just too "Irish" for me.

watch the video interview with him here, he raps in his natural speaking voice, real or fake doesn't come into it
