Start with an Encore maybe. What's your budget? You could get a decent Encore for €200, new. That's pretty much as low as you're gonna get realistically though.

You might try Yamaha or Taylor for that price. If you go into a decent shop they should recommend something.

Don't rule out Washburn either!. Your best bet for your first Guitar is to get someone you know who plays Guitar to go with you to a music shop. Make them play all the Guitars you like(the look off and within your price range) and hold them and strum them yourself too, to see if you get a good feel off any!

Once you find one your happy with then buy it! Its your first guitar and will do you till you learn more about guitar. Then you can worry about the rest of the crap that come with Guitar badges, if you care about that sort of thing.

    Good Luck. :)

Sound gear have a tanglewood reduced from 799 to 299 at the moment for no apparent reason other than the fact that its been in the shop a long time. Plays okay, sounds okay. Nothing spectacular, but for the money it's great. Doubt it will be there long however...

Dont buy a ****ing Encore. Whatever you do! They're seriously bad.
