Hertz car rentals

I booked my US car rental online with hertz last month and prepaid the rental. They say they need to send you a voucher in order to use the rental. How long do they usually wait before they send you the voucher? Is pre-payment for car hire a common thing?

I've never pre-paid before. I normally use Dollar. Has the payment been processed on your credit card?

Yes they charged my Credit card the same day.

I'd drop them an email and ask them to clarify when they will send you the voucher. Normally the internet booking slip would do instead of a voucher.
