FTP-ing from PC to XBox (.. Never Mind .. Delete Please!)

    Hello all,

    Here's the problem.. i've my laptop and XBox upstairs in my room with no phone line / router in sight.

    I'm currently accessing the Net on the laptop through a Wireless connection on the router downstairs.

    Probably a stupid question here but is there any way to FTP into my XBox simply using a simple crossover / straight-through Ethernet cable with no router / hub / switch involved?

    Only got a straight through which came with my original DSL modem right now but can shop for a crossover if i can do this on Tuesday.

    EDIT: Never mind.. found out you can use a CrossOver Cable.. should have read a couple of posts down first! Will buy a Crossover on Monday!
