Symptoms such as that will clear up if you take a course of any off-the-shelf flu relief products - basically anything that contains paracetamol. I find uniflu is excellent for clearing that bunged-up feeling - just make sure you stick to it and keep taking it (even if the symptoms seem to have cleared up) - until your interview is over. I also recommend 'Night Nurse' - again similar ingredients (Paracetamol, caffeine ...) but good results. These don't cure you, they just block the symptoms for a while, so the usual lark about taking it easy, eating properly etc. etc. (yawn) still applies...

Snort a few lines of Charlie. That'll clear it right up for you! :D

Seriously, though, for a bunged up nose Vicks is your only man.

Just buy generic off-the-shelf paracetamol...it's the exact same as branded flu medicines (with the exception of sudafed whihc has an added decongestant).
With branded stuff you're paying for the outrageous amont of advertising they run and fancy packaging...

I usually take a few sudafed, lemsip max strength, neurofen and some vitamins over a couple of days whenever I have a cold or flu. don't know if a mixture of pills is good or not but it seems to work.

Sleep, dont take any drugs..they do zero to help you get better and by reducing the symptoms are probably prolonging the effects.
If you still feel like crap on interview day then take some paracetomal to lower the symptoms, otherwise just get plenty of sleep, drink lots of fluids and eat plenty of fruit.

Paracetamol and neurofen are painkillers, they will do very little by themselves.

    "Go to pharmacist".
