    Anyone tell me the legality of placeing hidden cameras in the work place ,do the staff have to be informed

    They have to be informed that the company is recording. However, not where the cameras are.

    heh, and they are good at hiding them too, The most obvious ones are Passive infra red beams that have video leads out the back of them/are ridiculously large/have got pin holes in the front for no apparent reason.
    If they are willing to spend the bucks, they can get one put in just about anything.

    They are legal, except in places where you could reasonabvly expect privacy (toilet cubicles, changing rooms, etc. NOT staff rooms)
